Atmosic’s OpenAir: Zephyr RTOS Open-Source Software
Atmosic now supports Zephyr, a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) that is maintained by the Zephyr Project as an open-source, royalty-free solution. Zephyr is commercially proven and enables our customers to build secure, connected, and future-proof products.
Small in memory footprint but also scalable, Zephyr is ideal for embedded applications. It features a full, lightweight kernel that supports cooperative and preemptive multithreading. Included device drivers and power management makes it easy to support a wide variety of peripherals as well as take advantage of Atmosic’s ultra-low power consumption.
To learn more about the features and capabilities of Zephyr, the Zephyr Project has a great set of documentation available.
Atmosic’s Zephyr Architecture
Our Zephyr implementation is optimized for BLE and Thread/Matter IoT Zephyr Applications running on our ATM33 and ATM34 series devices.
