The Next Era of Growth for Atmosic Double Down on Our Mission

After an incredible year of growth in 2021, we have raised an incremental $72 million in funding. This brings Atmosic’s total funding raised to $121.5 million since the company was founded in 2016. With this renewed support from our world-class team of investors, including Sutter Hill Ventures which led the round, we’re more excited than ever to continue our mission of driving the future of the battery-free IoT.

The latest investment will allow Atmosic to continue to expand our global footprint, enhance our ultra-low power and energy harvesting technology roadmap, and expand and build on our ability to support customer innovations across the IoT market spectrum. Today Atmosic is already working with leading industry brands, including Universal Electronics Inc., which develops wireless universal control solutions for home entertainment and smart home devices, and Primax, a developer and manufacturer of advanced Human Machine Interface devices. We will further expand our partnerships and customer relationships across verticals and geographies to serve growing customer opportunities and demand.

As a testament to all the hard work by the Atmosic family, our business has grown significantly during the past year with a 10x increase in shipments, and a 500% expansion in the company customer base. One of the key things that differentiates Atmosic is a relentless focus on innovation. Atmosic just announced our ATM33 Series Bluetooth® 5.3 family of high-performance system-on-chips (SoCs), which use our patented advanced energy harvesting and ultra-low power technology to provide 3-to-5x longer battery life compared to the competition. I was so fortunate to work with the co-founders of Atmosic for a number of years before this company was even started, so I’ve witnessed first-hand the unmatched vision and know-how that this leadership team possesses in the connectivity and low-power domains. I am confident that this new funding will help us further leverage Atmosic’s advantages to enable our customers and partners to usher in a battery-free future with us.
